It's Wild About Books Wednesday! Thank you for swinging by the blog. If you're new, every Wednesday I talk about a book that can be used in speech/language therapy. Books make the best therapy tools! If you're a blogger, please consider linking up below to share your ideas! Just link up with a new or recent post about how you use a specific book in therapy. last week I told you I loved Kevin Henkes? Well, I wasn't lyin'! I'm talking about another one of his books today haha.. I also have some free goodies to share that can be used with this book.
Jessica: Can your best friend be imaginary? may be my FAVORITE Kevin Henkes book!
This book can target many different skills: sequencing, inferencing, social skills, /j/, and much more! I made a few worksheets that can accompany this book! They are very versatile so they can be used in therapy or a regular education classroom!
Sequencing: I love this book for sequencing events! Students can write or draw pictures to show the sequence of the story.
A BIG shout-out to Melonheadz Illustrating and Krista Wallden. I used their clip art to make this freebie. You can snag this freebie by clicking HERE. This is my first time using google drive, so if there are any issues please let me know!
Also, since my Wild About Books Wednesday post contains some free worksheets I'm going to link up with The Teaching Tribune for Worksheet Wednesday! Please stop by their blog to check out all the free worksheets floating around the blogosphere!
