Bushels of Fun!

Apples, apples, apples! Apples everywhere! My favorite fall theme is.... Well, you guessed it! Apples! We have been hard at work in my speech room practicing our speech sounds with a twist of apple fun.

First, each of my articulation groups made an apple craft. My crafts are pretty primitive, but they're fun! I gave each of my students a die-cut of an apple and then they colored their speech words and glued them onto the apple!

One little fella got extra fancy! He asked for a sunflower.

They were so proud to take their apples home! Kids just love taking things with them.

Apple reinforcement sheets were also a big hit!

Of course, we also did some apple color, cut, and glue sheets:

My language groups also joined in on the apple-picking fun! We read If You Give a Dog a Donut by Laura Numeroff! It's about an adventurous little dog that likes apple juice with his donuts! We also completed a variety of apple themed activities during the week to compliment the book.

This was a quick assessment of temporal directions! And below is an apple stand full of prepositions!
