I'm so excited, because Halloween is right around the corner! Seriously, October is my favorite therapy month! I just love incorporating ghosts, witches, and other fun spooky creatures into my therapy sessions.
I wanted to drop in today to show you how you can turn ANY worksheet into a fun Halloween craft! Truly, I don't have a crafty bone in my body. For real. I wish I could perform magic with construction paper, but I can't even cut out a circle. haha! If you're anything like me, you're going to love this!
Meet the Halloween worksheet buddies!
Seriously, can you even handle this cuteness? Spooky + Cute = My Favorite Combination!
These are SO simple to make and can truly be used with any worksheet that you plan on using in October. Of course, I had to pair them with some of my favorite Halloween no prep activities!
First, let's flip out with Frank!
Frankenstein is my favorite Halloween character! I paired him with one of my Articulation Flip Books! This would also work perfectly with WH Question Flip Books or October's Literature Flip Books!
There is a trick to using full sized flip books or worksheets though. You have to have large construction paper! I bought a package of black 12 inch by 18 inch paper at Michael's! I also cut off about 3 inches from the top using my paper cutter! Of course, you don't have to cut off anything from the top, but I wanted part of Frankenstein's head to come off of the top a little bit!
This picture shows you the size difference! If you only have regular sized construction paper you'll have to adjust the size of your worksheet! I promise it's super easy though! Just print two to a page! I used Frankenstein Articulation above and made a little booklet.
To print two sheets to a page just go to print and input the page numbers you want printed. Then select multiple and 2 in the drop down menu! Voila! You can print off the initial, medial, and final positions and your students can glue a little booklet in the middle of their craft!
Let's check out some more worksheet buddies!
How cute is this little witch?! I paired her with Witch's Articulation Brew! The middle features a booklet of all the /l/ blends pages!
Nerdy confession time! I love vampires! I'm currently on season 7 of Vampire Diaries on Netflix! haha! I paired this cutie with Halloween Apraxia! I made a booklet of CVC words in the middle!
I paired the mummy with Halloween Articulation Gumballs! He's holding a booklet of /k/ and /g/ words!
Gotta love Frank! :)
