Halloween Articulation Vocabulary Books! {Freebie!}

Happy October, friends! This is my favorite therapy month!

Today, I want to share my latest freebie with you! Lately, I've been completely obsessed with articulation vocabulary books! I've made a thematic bundle and yesterday I posted a seasonal bundle! I decided to make a free version so that you can try them out with your speech students!

Articulation vocabulary books are such a great way to infuse reading and vocabulary into your speech therapy sessions! Students can practice at the reading level, sentence level, and even the word level by simply labeling the item on each page! Your non-readers can also echo read each page with you!

The Halloween version addresses /k/, /g/, and /s/ blends! Each page features the carrier phrase "I see..." followed by a Halloween vocabulary word that contains the featured phoneme. These are also perfect to use as easy readers for the regular education classroom! Here's a preview:

These are a great way to keep students engaged throughout their session! While they wait for their turn to participate in repetitive drills, they can color and assemble their book! These are also perfect for home practice! Students can make their book with you and then take it home to read for additional practice! The finished product looks like this:

These vocabulary books are also perfect for mixed groups! You can easily work on describing, comparing/contrasting, and categorization with these books!
