Speech and Language Lesson Plans for March!

February is ending and that means it's time to get prepared for a brand new month of speech-language therapy! If this is your first time visiting my blog, welcome! I have a little series here called A Slice of Speech - I create visual lesson plans for you to make your life a little bit easier and give you a little "slice" of my speech world! The cool thing about visual lesson plans is that you can simply click on the resource you would like and it will take you there instantly!
I love March for so many reasons! It's my birthday month (Woot! Woot! I'm turning 33 this year... eeek!), the days become longer, and it features the first day of spring! My favorite season! :)

It's a fun time for speech therapy too! I love celebrating St. Patrick's Day (and green is my favorite color)! Over the years, I've created lots of materials for March and I'm excited to now have them organized into visual lessons!
In articulation therapy, I love keeping little hands busy! I never want students to simply "wait for their turn." I want them to be actively engaged the entire time! That's why I love activities that require multiple steps, such as coloring, cutting, and glueing! March's Interactive Articulation Notebook and Speech Therapy Crafts are super engaging and fun! Also, if you like to decorate your door, have students create their crafts and then hang them up! If you want to stay festive all year long, check out the bundle!

I also recommend sending home articulation game boards for extra practice! Students love collecting them and are more likely to practice at home if they get to play a game! Games don't feel like homework! :)

In fluency, Fluency In a Snap is a must-have! The March edition features St. Patrick's Day and spring themes (you can use it in April and May too!). There are also dot pages for fluency if you want to whip out the bingo daubers in March!

Great news! I finally have a series just for Phonology! I'm so excited about it! My first packet is the March edition and you can find the growing bundle by clicking HERE.
I love using my St. Patrick's Day Bundle - it covers articulation, expressive language, receptive language, and has an old lady book companion too!

There are so many great books to read in March! I love How to Catch a Leprechaun, That's What Leprechauns Do, and so many more! Do you have a favorite book to use in March? Please leave a comment and let me know!

You can download these visual lesson plans by clicking HERE. Just click on the resource you want to check out and it'll take you to it! I hope these make your life a little bit easier! Spring is always a crazy time for paperwork and meetings.

Thank you for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!
